I received a digital copy of this book from the publisher with no obligations。 These opinions are entirely my own。 。。。more

Bob Goff, well-known author, podcaster, and public speaker, has a brand new book named, "Undistracted: Capture Your Purpose。 Rediscover Your Joy。" Throughout his book, Goff encourages his readers to live a live that is undistracted, which he claims can only be done once you know your true purpose。 He supports this claim by including personal anecdotes and Scripture references。 This book was easy to read and very applicable。Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC。 All opinions are my own。 Bob Goff, well-known author, podcaster, and public speaker, has a brand new book named, "Undistracted: Capture Your Purpose。 Rediscover Your Joy。" Throughout his book, Goff encourages his readers to live a live that is undistracted, which he claims can only be done once you know your true purpose。 He supports this claim by including personal anecdotes and Scripture references。 This book was easy to read and very applicable。Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC。 All opinions are my own。 。。。more

I always have so many notes after reading one of his books。 Always tweaking life as I go through his stuff。 Everyone should read this book。

I loved this book! Bob has a storytelling gift - taking normal life experiences and wrapping them in simple concepts of purpose and joy。 An easy and funny read but also very inspiring and makes you want to take a look at your priorities and run after loving people with your whole heart!

Fantastic read like all of Bob Goff’s books。 One I will definitely read again… maybe with the kids next time!

Mr。 Bob does it again。 He has a way of writing important life lessons for Christian’s that seem achievable in a very broken world。 I recommend this book to anyone who is confused or struggling with their faith and what is happening in this world; whether personally, politically, spiritually, or just want a healthy reminder on how to live for the Lord。

This book offered a perspective I had not read before。 The whole concept of what it means to live undistracted and on purpose。 Was encouraging to read as lately I have felt very distracted by certain areas and people in my life。 Hoping to put some of the practical steps in this book to practice!

This book had some great concepts and ideas。 I think I will likely read it again sometime down the road and maybe get a physical copy instead of listening to the audiobook again。 It’s hard for me to not see the authors of these types of books as just tooting their own horn a bit, but that’s okay。 I liked the ideas of just because you’ve failed doesn’t mean you’re a failure, the ideas about how he put money in a jar or donated it or something for critical/unkind words was memorable, and just maki This book had some great concepts and ideas。 I think I will likely read it again sometime down the road and maybe get a physical copy instead of listening to the audiobook again。 It’s hard for me to not see the authors of these types of books as just tooting their own horn a bit, but that’s okay。 I liked the ideas of just because you’ve failed doesn’t mean you’re a failure, the ideas about how he put money in a jar or donated it or something for critical/unkind words was memorable, and just making time for people and making others feel like they matter is something I want to do better at。 I liked the idea of doing one nice thing for one person and then trying to double it the next day。 Maybe I’ll take it a little slower, but being intentional about making time for people is important。 There were a lot of Bible and scriptural references so this book might hit home most with Christian readers。 。。。more

I think I cried through the entire book- mostly tears of beautiful, pure joy。 Bob’s relationships are a testament to him as a human and God。 I loved this book。 I’ll recommend it to anyone- you can ignore the Jesus stuff if you want to and it’ll still be worth reading。 I’m going to miss you, Bob Goff。 I’ve got this weird feeling this is your last piece before you leave us。 Like you’re saying goodbye。 Thanks for being here。

While there is nothing revolutionary in this book, it does read like a good pep talk from Bob Goff。 And who doesn't want a pep talk from Bob Goff? His optimism and zest for life and Jesus is infectious。 This book is motivating in how we look out for other people and are available to serve others。 Bob puts his personal phone number in every one of his books。 Did you know this about him? Can you imagine the calls he gets? He not only preaches how to serve others, he lives it。 And this book is moti While there is nothing revolutionary in this book, it does read like a good pep talk from Bob Goff。 And who doesn't want a pep talk from Bob Goff? Quick read, full of very useful advice on how to get moving , as well as forgiving past mistakes, overcoming obstacles, and how to face each day with renewed energy, seeing the best in the people we encounter, and how to be the best version of ourselves。 Distractions come from so many angles, but re-wiring our brains to 'focus' , we can overcome distractions, and see them less, and see our focus more。。。。。 One of my favorite authors。 I never miss a book he writes! 2。5/5There’s no doubt in my mind Bob Goff is an extraordinary man who has experienced a full life of boundless joy and selfless love, but his new book Undistracted felt all over the place with too little meat on the bone。 Only about half his stories and anecdotes are interesting with extremely thin, borderline laughable segues into his vague advice about living an undistracted life。 Many times I pushed myself through the disinterest to finish the book。

Denisa Ostas

Bob Goff takes you through insightful stories to deliver his main message: watch out for your distractions so you can see clearly your big purpose!Life is full of urgent tasks and distractions that both hijack our joy。 The truth nuggets that the author insert throughout the chapter always point to Jesus。Some of my favourite quotes:“Get busy seeing yourself the way God sees you。”“Think of phone use as cheating on your family”。

Hannah Flynt

I adore Bob Goff and have connected really well with his previous two books。 Undistracted was good, but it wasn’t my favorite of his。 Don’t get me wrong, there was some wonderful truth sprinkled throughout this book!! But a lot of times it felt pretty self-helpish, which is great for some, but just not what I was hoping for when I picked up this book。 Overall though, I’m glad that I read it!

I love that I live on the same planet as Bob。

After hearing Bob Goff speak at a MOPS International convention, I've been a fan of his。 While they're frenetic and always happy-go-lucky, his Bible studies audio share some interesting insights and encouragement。 This one in particular I think would be great for high school/youth groups。 After hearing Bob Goff speak at a MOPS International convention, I've been a fan of his。 While they're frenetic and always happy-go-lucky, his Bible studies audio share some interesting insights and encouragement。 This one in particular I think would be great for high school/youth groups。 。。。more

Goff immediately drew me in with the synopsis of this book! His writing style made me feel like we were best friends and he was sharing stories, wisdom, and nuggets from life with me。 I made so many notes and highlights, and they're things I'll return to again and again for encouragement and focus。 I left this book with a renewed sense of purpose for God's plan for my life and this quote in the forefront of my mind:"We need to block our view of the things that hardly matter at all, stop returnin Goff immediately drew me in with the synopsis of this book! Can’t rate this one。 Normally I love listening to nonfiction and autobiographies, but this one was a hazard to my driving because it was so sleepy。 Probably better to just read it。

Jessica

good not greatI liked some of the ideas in this book, but mostly it is the same stuff you read from every life coach。

Jkociela

I found the book to be very boring。 The author tells a lot of stories about himself intermingled with some "Joel Osteen" positivity advice。 Nothing of any substance here - a lot of fluff。 Just my take on the book。 I found the book to be very boring。 The author tells a lot of stories about himself intermingled with some "Joel Osteen" positivity advice。 Nothing of any substance here - a lot of fluff。 Just my take on the book。 。。。more

i think this book had some good ideas and i really love bob goff and his contagious joy and lightheartedness, but overall this book offered what i consider to be bad advice。 it also seemed to be kind of fluffy without a lot of depth。 not my favorite goff book。

Kimber Miller

I love Bob Goff’s books。 I did enjoy this one although it wasn’t my favorite by him。 I enjoyed all of his stories and insight。

Blaire Bartish

First of all, I did not realize this was a Christian book。 However, with that being said, there was still some good insight into living your best life and staying your course, no matter what distractions live in your past。 Also, Bob has some great stories as well。 I loved the French fry oil anointment one。
