2。5/5There’s no doubt in my mind Bob Goff is an extraordinary man who has experienced a full life of boundless joy and selfless love， but his new book Undistracted felt all over the place with too little meat on the bone。 Only about half his stories and anecdotes are interesting with extremely thin， borderline laughable segues into his vague advice about living an undistracted life。 Many times I pushed myself through the disinterest to finish the book。

Bob Goff takes you through insightful stories to deliver his main message: watch out for your distractions so you can see clearly your big purpose！Life is full of urgent tasks and distractions that both hijack our joy。 The truth nuggets that the author insert throughout the chapter always point to Jesus。Some of my favourite quotes:“Get busy seeing yourself the way God sees you。”“Think of phone use as cheating on your family”。

I adore Bob Goff and have connected really well with his previous two books。 Undistracted was good， but it wasn’t my favorite of his。 Don’t get me wrong， there was some wonderful truth sprinkled throughout this book！！ But a lot of times it felt pretty self-helpish， which is great for some， but just not what I was hoping for when I picked up this book。 Overall though， I’m glad that I read it！

i think this book had some good ideas and i really love bob goff and his contagious joy and lightheartedness， but overall this book offered what i consider to be bad advice。 it also seemed to be kind of fluffy without a lot of depth。 not my favorite goff book。
